Mine is a combination of mine and an ex's names. Obviously made it when we were still together. First three letters of each of our names (PET-er, KEL-lie) and transposing the middle two letters. PET-KEL became pek-tel.

Mine was given to me in middle school and has stuck ever since. My wife even uses it when she cant get my attention because I answer faster. :-) It is my last name shortened and the "s" changed to a "z".
