...because your mailbox just might get exploded.
I posted a WTB for some cheap briars, as I am getting really into pipe smoking. Enter Jonathan (a/k/a The Traveler). He strings me along with some bogus story about selling a few estate pipes he's cleaned up and everything is hunky-dory until we start talking about how to pay. Apparently that was not in his plan.

I think I am all set here, I absolutely cannot wait to start smoking these pipes and trying the samples he sent.
His only mistake: leaving his return address on the box.
:-):-)
Jonathan, thank you so much.
:-)

Nice hit.
That Rhodesian shaped one on the bottom is neat.

What kind of pipes are those? They are very beautiful.
I am just starting into pipes, very fascinated with all the different stuff. Cigars, now pipes, will the slope ever end??
:-) I hope not!! It is probably best that I didn't sell my other cabinet. Gonna have to make room for some pipe tobacco.

Pipes are a great change of pace from cigars, and you can control the amount of time you want to be smoking. There is NST for pipes as well...highly recommend it!!
:-)
There are a lot of knowledgable guys here, so the threads are packed with good info. I started with a Peterson barrel pipe and 2 Meerschaum corn cob pipes and I LOVE them.
Anyway...that where I'll end it because I don't want to derail this thread.

1. Yorkshire bulldog shape with meerschaum lined bowl.
2. Dr Grabow Omega.
3. Chadwick bent bulldog.
4. Dr Grabow Golden Duke.
5. Jobey Asti de Luxe bulldog (France).
Pipe smoking is really cool, like KenyanSandBoa said you can control how much you want to smoke, it's a nice change of pace and some of the pipe tobacco smells really nice (they call it "room note"). There are also some many different pipe tobaccos. It is certainly yet another slope.

I was in the mood to bomb someone with pipes and such and just happened across your WTB thread. Wrong place wrong time, my friend. You're the victim of a CA drive-by.
:-) :-)
Seriously though, it was my pleasure. I hope you enjoy the pipes and find something in those tobacco samples that piques your interest.

Too bad he gave you all his crap pipe tobacco.
:-):-) Of course, I kid. You should get a good world view from those choices.
The pipe in the center is exactly like the pipe I got from my uncle
that I love so much. Nowhere near that condition. It was well used.
