Thanks. They list Hi Time Wines, but Hi Times doesn't list it on their website. I'll give them a call.

It's probably such limited supply they don't bother putting it on the website.

Yeah, or maybe they don't have internet distribution rights...

I tried some of the Dreadnaught at the Great American Beer Festival this year. It was quite enjoyable.

Personally, I always find myself going back to Dogfish 60 minute. I just love that beer!

Most likely. I would call ahead. I have seen Pliny listed on some websites but none can really ship it out of California.

Racer 5 and Hop Otten are two very good and readily available IPA. SN Torpedo is very good as well. Seen it around quite a bit here in San Diego.

Lots of other good ones mentioned that I've had. Many that I have not and plan to seek out. I've had very few IPAs I didn't like.

I like Bell's Two Hearted Ale, Surly Furious, and a local brew called Masala Mamma. PLus pretty much any from Sierra Nevada. I'm loving SN Celebration this autumn/winter.

Sad to say, but IPA's are my least favorite beer out there. I do everything I can to not drink one. No matter who makes it.

Sierra Nevada Torpedo Extra IPA (seems to be in-stock @ BevMo for us here in Cali land):-)

Stone Brewery Ruinition IPA (reminds me of my homebrew IPA formula when I was homebrewing):-)

Drinking a Surly Furious right now. Man these are good. Think piney, floral, grapefruity. Long lasting head that is sweet on the lips. This is as good as IPA gets.

I wish I could get Furious here. Mmmm..

How much does a 4 pack cost?
[Reply]
BlackDog 10:13 PM 11-06-2009
A 4 pack of Furious is about $12. Too spendy to be a regular beer, but oh so good.

Thanks. I was just curious. I found a place online with it for $11, and wanted to make sure that was the going rate. Of course, then I found out that they required a minimum $100 order to ship, and the shipping on that $100 order is $60. Yikes.

Leatherlips IPA is by far my favorite. It is better than Stone and other expensive offerings.
