Yes, no animals were harmed during the publishing of Hustler.

A few of us from a political science class in college (back in 1983) were actually in the Supreme Court on the day Larry was held in contempt by Chief Justice Warren Burger for shouting out "F*** this court!" while wearing a t-shirt that said F*** the Supreme Court. I was sitting on the aisle and only 2 rows in front of him (he was in his gold plated wheelchair and parked on the aisle). Those police flipped him backward in his wheelchair and carried him out lightning fast. You could hear his obscenities echoing down the corridors even after they carried him out. Most of the Justices fled the bench when he began yelling and the police started swarming. Not Burger! He stood up and just stared him down. They locked the rest of us down in our seats for a 10 minute recess until things returned to normal. Quite a memorable college experience for a 19 year old! Got to meet Sandra Day O'Connor that day as well.

:-)

Was your trip there planned because his case was being heard, or did you just get lucky?
