I do lots of conference calls outside on my patio during the summer. Everyone has to get used to the sound of the two waterfalls in the background, but they want my perspective, so they put up with it.

In summer, it is usually a black and tan and a du Depute or Sir Winston for me.

OCC is translated - outside for a cigar... LOL My wife knows exactly what I'm up to when I tell her I'm headin' outside for a conference call. :-)

I recommend you only use one ice cube... just enough water to open up the scotch, but not so much that it dilutes the flavor. :-)

I used to do the same thing in my previous job. The only problem was on the days that the lawn care people came around to my neighbor's homes. I did not participate as much on those days.

I had quite the little setup so that my laptop display was shielded from the sun, etc. (it does help to be able to see the screen for a netmeeting :-))
