So I've taken up a new hobby, transferring pictures onto blocks of wood. its a pretty cool effect.

Here's the same one but in color. it didn't come out so good so I took a sander to it to make it look like an old faded photo.

I use a gel medium to transfer the ink from a photo that has been printed on regular printer paper to the wood and then cover it with a clear coat.

Here is my latest creation. After I got the pic on the wood, I used a dremel tool to carve out the edges to make it look like unfinished wood work.
