As some of you may know, I moved into a loft condo in a converted warehouse, and inherited a walk in vault. Apparently these were quite common in the early 20th century, as no one really trusted banks. They are also known as "book vaults", where one would keep the ledgers. 18 inch walls, original doors (quite damaged.)
Anyway - Genuwine Cellars did the installation and cooling, and Moneta Enterprises restored the doors, locks and tumblers. The bars were chromed to reduce the effect of wear.
