Currently listening to some Beethoven piano sonatas. Nice break from outlaw country and metal lol.

Listened to a bunch of those the other day. Most people may only know three - Moonlight, Pathetique, and Appassionata - but he composed 29 more. That is hours of calm in this stressful world.

I'm really only familiar with the first two, but I'm going through all of them. It is definitely calming to listen to.

Big fan of the Beethoven sonatas. Also love Schubert's sonatas. Chopin is always relaxing and Rachmaninoffs piano works are always a treat.

Currently listening to Mahlers 2nd symphony at the brewery. It's nice being the only one here sometimes.

Lenny's take is fantastic. So much emotion in an already emotional piece. My favorite take is between his and Simon Rattles. Rattle brings energy and unique perspective to the score.

I can appreciate Mahler, but not enough to follow different conductors. :-)

Me, I'm more a Papa Haydn fan, man.
