It was freaking awesome. My neck is sore, my feet hurt from jumping all night, and my ears rang until noon today. They played nearly every song I was hoping they would (Beggars, Daedalus, Deadbolt, Yellow Belly, Anthology, Words in the Water, Cold Cash and Colder Hearts, Stare at the Sun, The Artist in the Ambulance) - the only one I REALLY missed was Doublespeak. But still - it was a good show. Probably the only one of their's I'll ever get to see :-)

"O, Brother" and "Animals As Leaders" were their opening acts. "Animals as Leaders" is THE most technically skilled band that I've seen live. Truly astounding. I knew Tosin Abasi was a beast - I wasn't aware how skilled their drummer is.

Anthology is my absolute favorite song from them. Such great composure. Animals As Leaders is just a standout from everything. Tosin just incorporates so many techniques into his works that just make it stand out.

Ever listen to Scale the Summit? It's very similar to AAL. I really enjoy them both

I was listening to some more of their stuff on the way home. I can't believe I didn't include "Image of the Invisible" on my list of amazing things they played. It was incredible.
