So I smoked my first one of these tonight after dinner.....delicious. Glad I ate and had a drink on hand (thanks for the tip kelmac & Ogre!), I may have to review this one quite soon, unfortunately I don't think I'll need a cigar for a few days, friggin' nicotine sammich!! :-)

Smoke a few more and do a review if you would. That would be great!

How did you cut it?

I usually cut on an angle.

Just took the Palio to it...I took off about a quarter inch. Not sure if I'm doing it right, I actually thought while I was cutting it, "Wonder if I should put up a thread asking how folks cut these?".

for the torp (since they are round at the head) the angle makes sense...what about the "flat" head on the chisel..how do you angle the cut?

The LFD Chisel is light compared to the higher end Litto Gomez Diez Chisel. :-)

Just tilt the cutter. Just imagine cutting it with a knife. try and keep the angle of the tip, your just removing the cap to get the smoky goodness out.
I try to make a consious effort to have the cut end down in my mouth so the smoke hits my tongue VS the roof of my mouth.

I don't have that experience, Bob. To me, the regular line is stronger than the Litto's. Then again, I am strange.

The AirBender Chisel is coming. Also a great 5 pack Chisel sampler with a Chisel, Chisel Maduro, AirBender Chisel, Coronado Chisel and Cameroon Chisel.
