There's no white in the 8 colors, but I see a lot of white that would be hard to draw around with colors leaving a white spot. Looks "too" good.

I suspect this would be something that could be easliy verified with a magnifying glass of some sort.
Given the visibility that this artist and his prints have, I think that it is true, otherwise there would be people posting about it...

google "negative space drawing". I own several originals that are examples of this technique.

I think when you see it large you can see the strokes and determine it is indeed drawn.
The easiest spot to see this is the whiskers IMHO. Amazing work.
