I tend to think there's about a 30 -60 minute window to relight a cigar, and anything after that is questionable. Going fishing in the Stinky the next day, no way. :-)

It doesn't actually work that well, something about burning in the pipe really changes the flavor. It's also really hard to keep lit.

Now a Ram Clip, and optional straw, on the other hand, that does work...

Only thing I've ever done was smoke half a cigar, have something come up cut off the lit part, put it back in the wrapper. Smoke it about 1 maybe 2 hours later. That was once....it was maybe 70% as good...or 60...maybe even 50. But I wasn't about to waste half a cigar.
