What are your thoughts on the Oak Aged Yeti? I keep seeing it in the store and always want to pick it up..just haven't pulled the trigger yet.

I really like it. I get lots of vanilla, chocolate and rich espresso flavors. Good amount of oak flavors too.

It was my first beer for the night, it was excellent. I was worried the bottled version would be a step down from tap, but it was nearly as good. In a blind test I am not sure I would have known the difference.

For IPA fans the Maharaja is excellent.

Last night - Switchback on draft.
Tonight - Stone Smoked Porter. Pretty tasty. Not nearly as smoky as I was expecting.

I started the weekend Friday night by cracking open my growler of Pliny the Elder. My wife picked up some Sierra Ruthless Rye on her way home so I had one of those as well, tasted great, I like the spicy character.

On Saturday we went to Yardhouse for my birthday and I ended up drinking their Belgian sampler (don't remember what all 6 beers were, but one was Lindemans Framboise, which I hated, tastes like raspberries dropped in champagne), Grand Teton B*tch Creek, Moylan's Kilt Lifter, and Speakeasy Double Daddy. After that we were over at my in-laws' place and I shared out my first homebrew, a pale ale.
