Wine, Beer, and Spirits>Favorite Stout/Porter
Heavy_d 09:58 AM 04-10-2014
So I've been on a stout/porter kick lately, buying and trying as many different ones as I can, and figured I'd see what all my fellow BOTLs enjoy in that style. My favorites so far have been Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout by North Coast Brewery and Young's Double Chocolate Stout from Wells & Youngs.

So what's your favorite go to stout or porter? Which ones are worth seeking out and which ones should be skipped?

I have this bottle on my shelf actually! A very good stout, Derek. You'd definitely like the one I posted previously then :-)

It won't help you too much, but my favorite porter is our own homebrew porter. I'm not much of a porter fan but we happen to make a wonderful porter.

But then again we don't have so many different stouts/porters here. I also really like 'Jopen Koyt' (Dutch beer). Although I am not sure it is a stout or porter (it is a dark beer though).
