I'm gauging interest, with the BBQ season upon us in certain parts of the world. I figured, we could start a "What's smokin" thread.

I'll start by showing what's smokin' and what I smoke while smokin' Today is beef brisket and I'll start with an FFP. Will update with finished pictures.

7 Pound beef brisket, flat
Rub:
Garlic
Onions
Paprika
Sea Salt (coarse)
Cayanne Pepper
Ground Mustard
Rosemary
Black Pepper
Garlic Powder

I did a full brisket a couple of weeks ago. Rubbed it down with Memphis Dust.

Well... I guess that solves the interest issue. I love cooking brisket! Such a rewarding cook.

I'd say it turned out pretty darned good!

I'm a big fan of the Memphis Dust rub and use it on just about everything. I did a brisket yesterday and used his Big Bad Beef rub and it was the best brisket I have ever cooked.
