Perhaps this may be your next car and way around traffic jams.

Cool,,,I can remember reading about these in Popular Mechanics years ago. When you factor what the top of the line Mercedes cost this "flying car" makes sense to me.

You believe that the car rides like a top of the line Mercedes?

I'm betting that parking that sucker will be problematic and passenger room sucks. Better off being part of a flying club.

Note that you still have to take off and land on a runway.

for a 194k I'd buy an big comfy SUV or truck, then a crap load of cigars. So when I get in trafic I can smoke an nice cigar and wait it out. I dont need a flying car.

In order to become airborne "legally", it needs to take off and land from an airport. However, I could just see myself lowering the wings and flooring it to get past a traffic jam. If I had the money, I would put it on the top of the list.

It has to be very lightweight. It has a huge side profile. Makes me wonder how it handles as a car in crosswinds. I have been hearing about flying cars all my life. I don't see any yet. I like VTOL or STOL.
Still, this may be something you can drive to an airport, fly to another airport and drive away without getting out.
