I gotta say, it gave me an appreciation for how tough it is to put a wrapper on a tapered cigar!

I just hope I don't get half trashed at a herf and try to smoke the dang thing.:-)

So is that an actual wrapper leaf or just masking tape (or something)?

Brain isn't missing....it is a draw poker, the "wrapper" is brown paper from a corrugated cardboard box, the stick is bamboo. Next one I do will be with a brown craft paper, which is thinner so may be easier to wrap. I gotta finish my humi though, these distractions are slowing me waaaaay down!

Looks great:-) So what did you use for the poker? To get the file serrations in it?? Was going to make a few out of antler.

Poker is "music wire" from the hobby shop, it is similar to spring steel, very strong and flexible. I used a diamond cut off wheel to put in the serrations, actually they are spiral grooves cut at an oblique angle to the shaft, and in opposite directions to provide some cutting action. I don't have a jig to rotate the shaft in, so had to do it by hand and as a result, they aren't perfectly even, but what the hell....

Shoot! :-)

I haven't done any Quality or Acceptance testing on this thing! :-)

Quick!

Somebody send me some plugged Cubans! :-)
