When I was in Florida last fall, a friend gave me this 5x54 belicoso with the name La Caridad del Cobre, a cigar whom I never heard off. I can't find much info online, except that the name of this cigar is Charada No. 5 – “La Monjita” and that the cigar is made from Dominican and Nicaraguan filler with a Dominican binder and a Brazilian arapiraca wrapper. The cigar is made by Frank Hererra, a lawyer well known in the cigar industry.

The cigar has a lovely band and an oily, dark wrapper with some veins. The cigar has a dry straw smell. The construction feels good and the great predraw confirms the good construction. I taste raisin.

I taste a spicy and herbal coffee flavor with earth and a peppery aftertaste. After half an inch I taste wood with herbs, a hint of chocolate and some grass in the aftertaste.

Halfway I taste wood and chocolate, the structure of the flavors is mild creamy, even buttery by times. After two thirds I taste wood and herbs, mild spicy, with a herbal freshness.

The smoke time of this petit torpedo is an hour and twenty five minutes. The draw is great, just like the burn. I got a lot of medium thick smoke. The dark silvery gray ash is firm. This cigar is full flavored and medium to full bodied.

Would I buy this cigar again? Depending on the price, I might get some
