Any one on here a car audio nut? I'm just starting out putting stuff in my truck but it is quite a adventure. I'm still super new to everything. But here's what I got...

MP342U head
Kicker 6x9s in all 4 doors
300 watt amp (soon to be upgraded)
12" rockford fosgate p3

Just got the p3 in a trade for my old 8" p1 and need to upgrade the amp to push the bigger speaker. What dp you guys have? Any advice?

This is my setup so far:

Kenwood DDX7015 head unit with Kenwood KNA G510 nav. I also fabricated a custom mount for the ipod/iphone in the center console area in front of the shifter:

Eclipse SP5700 components, with the front tweeters flush mounted up higher on the door panel:

In the trunk is a Directed Audio D2400 amp DC Audio Level 4 12" sub wired to a 1 ohm load in a custom box (I made it, 3/4" birch plywood, 2.25 ft^3 tuned to 33-34hz:

I just finished my Dad's new truck.

I did mine while back. I'll try to find pictures of it. Really the only difference is I have 2 JL Slash Amps, and a double-din HU.

And before anyone says it, I added some split loom to the main power wire. I just took the picture without the loom so it would show up better.

It's got all the extras too. XM Radio, iPod Adapter, working Steering Wheel controls and a few other goodies.

Have not been in it in years. Used to do some SQ competitions on IASCA about 10 years ago.

:-) They are doc martens, and they are still going strong after a decade of use!
