I was stationed at Nellis AFB and was lucky to see the T-Birds every Monday, when they would come back to base from an airshow somwhere. They would close the flightline down for 15-20 minutes and the T-Birds would perform a brief show for us! :-)

Great pics. I used to wrok on the NE side of INDY and watch them all practice before the show. I NEED to get out to that. We passed on it for a wine festival...meh.

Thanks- I use three cameras with separate lenses on each.
1. Canon 40D with pime 400 5.6-- single planes
2. Canon 40D with 70-200 4.0- formations. (Sometimes put a 1.4x teleconverter on this)
3. Canon 30D with Tamron 17-50 2.8 static and wide angle shots.
