Just stopped in c-bid to see what was happening (been almost a year since I was there) and an hour later I'm bidding on 10 lots
:-)
The first clue I was in trouble when I placed the first bid it told me the CC on file had expired and please renew it.
Should have taken that as a sign
:-)

I've been hearing about it from the wife a good bit lately too. lol Every Monday for the last 5 weeks, a big brown truck drops off a little brown box.... Usually smaller orders ($25-$40), wins I got by bidding really low figuring I couldn't get it for that. Now I have racked up about $100 on the current order.....that should go over really nice! So if I go missing......

Isn't it fun when you lowball a few lots hoping one will stick, and they all do?

So far I've been "lucky" enough to have been outbid on every lot. It's only a matter of time before this devil takes a bite out of my CC.

Never joined CBID. Being in college is hard enough on my wallet!

I blocked the site through our content filter at work to keep me from accessing it.

I have browsed, but never joined. I plan on keeping it that way. Window shopping only for this internet warrior.

Yeah. I did that for a while. Now I'm a member and have a credit card on file. It's only a matter of time until I'm fully owned by that devil site.
Good luck to you.

Have been owned by this site for 2 years now and yes, it can "bite" your ass but when you think of what you save vs buying online or at B&M's you know why it's so popular. Yes, I scream and nearly feint when I get the bills but I have built my humidors up from 150 to well over a 1,000 cigars for probably half what it would cost me buying at other cigar places. It's like Vegas, if you can't afford to pay, don't play.

Fortunately for me, I'm too impatient. C-bid and Ebay don't work for me.

Thats exactly why when I was spending what I was spending on cigars, box prices on CBID could/can be ridiculously low.... I have scored multiple boxes of Oliva G maduros for half price, and when the Sol Cubano CC were unknown, they were practically giving them away, same for LHC's.
