Boston is rolling.

See if the Sharts can beat up on the Blues again tomorrow.

Rask has been really good.

I hope I didn't jinx him. :-)

Hog, who should I root for? Don't care for any team left in particular, so give me a reason to root for someone...

I hate a couple of the teams left, but I won't influence you that way....I'll just mention some good stories.

Joe Thornton (Sharks).....most games played by any current player w/o a Cup.

Craig Berube. Good guy who took over as coach and brought the Blues from 31st the league in mid-January to the Western Finals. (Too bad I hate all the players on that team....there goes my impartiality). :-)

Tuukka Rask....his chance to redeem himself for a career of playoff failures (right, Adam? :-)). And the kids on Boston....Kuraly, Accari, Coyle....have been amazing.

Carolina? Rod Brind'amour. And their kids on D, Slavin, Pesce, DeHaan, Hamilton...fun to watch.

So who should win the Cup?

I'll go with the Sharks. Gotta root for a guy who hasn't won a cup. :-) Kind of like us tortured Cincinnati fans :-)

Until yesterday I didn't think my B's were strong enough to go the distance. If nothing at all its entertaining hockey to watch.

Bruins looked like the globetrotters yesterday behind the back passes the third line is cooking.
icehog3 10:23 PM 05-13-2019
You blue it, Sharts.

I think Rask has tired of all the talk about how he's not a "Big Game Goalie" and is on a mission.

First an undeserved win against VGK on a bad 5 minute major call, now an OT winner on an obvious hand pass. I'm really rooting against SJ at this point!
icehog3 10:00 PM 05-15-2019
A shame a great game like that ended on a play like that. I'm no Blues fan, but I'd like to see a legit goal to win a game.
Porch Dweller 06:26 AM 05-16-2019
That was ridiculous.

You forgot to mention the game 7 offsides call on Landeskog & the AVS that reversed a good goal call.

I’d do myself a favor and bet for everyone I want to lose in these playoffs, I’d have made a fair amount of money so far this year.

Maybe we should quickly bet the Sharks, seems like the officiating is on their side this postseason.

Of course, these things can even out, so.....

I was reminded of that on the post game show last night after I submitted my post. Crazy!

B's headed to the Cup finals. I'm so freakin happy!:-):-):-)

Yeah Baby !!

Rask is killing it. Whenever a B's line needs to step up, it steps up, be it the first or fourth. They're backchecking well and clogging up the D zone well.

One of my biggest year-by-year criticisms of the post-2011, Claude Julien-coached Bruins was that late in games in which they had the lead they always let up and coasted, almost as if they just assumed they'd win the game. IMNSHO that attitude cost them the 2013 Cup.

But now they're playing hard to the last whistle, and the scoreboard's reflecting it.

I'm really feeling good about their chances...
icehog3 10:43 PM 05-16-2019
Bruins steamrolling. They are the best team standing this week, question is how will they start in the West goes 6 or 7 games? I bet Rask and the boys wish they were playing Saturday.
