And today, I finally earned my Private Helicopter Pilot certificate. Perfect opportunity to burn this bad boy.
Now someone chime in and ruin my day telling me it's fake
:-)
Met a Cuban guy through some family friends a while back and he passed one of these to me. Says he brought them back from his recent trip to Cuba. Real or not, it was an enjoyable cigar, and of course it was the nice gesture that counts.
Now that this load of stress is off of my back, I can start posting on here more often again
:-)

I will not say fake or real, but I will say when I look at it, there is not anything that screams out FAKE to me.
The last pic shows me an ash that I would not like on my Cohiba, looks extremely moist or loose or Mexican.
The bunch viewed from the foot seems a little homogeneous in color, I'd like some variety in shade and texture.
But in the end, it's all about the flavor, isn't it? Did you enjoy it? A celebratory smoke is ALWAYS real!

Congrats on the accomplishment, Chris!

Very impressive, but I am even more impressed with Brad's ability to identify Mexican cigar ash.

It's obviously a fake. If he gives you any more, send them to me for immediate disposal

I'd believe the wrapper to be Cuban, or at least from what I can see. Habanos typically have a "puckering" along small veins in the wrapper leaf, I see some on yours. What concerns me is the sloppiness of the caps.
