A number of you know Sen Bill Larkin as he has attended almost all of the Quad State Herfs and speaks from his heart about our great country and why we support wounded military members. Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's Friday! We had a great time with the Senator last night, it was our honor to be with him. Well, the weekend is upon us and there's a lot of sports to enjoy. The Cubs can advance to the World Series tonight as they are up 3 games to 2; the NASCAR drivers are in Talladega, AL this weekend; NHL is in full swing; Army football takes on North Texas here at home in West Point (I'll be working the game in the EOC starting at 0530) and there's plenty of NFL and college football for your viewing pleasure. Beth and I had a nice day yesterday, got a few chorus done and then headed over to the Newburgh Brewery to listen to some Swing music and support the Dyson Breast Center fundraiser. Being that today is Thursday, we'll be at Schlesinger's Cigar Bar / Hudson Valley Cigars this evening enjoying primo stogies and seeing how all the local S/BOTL are doing.

Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's back to work Monday. Beth and I had a great weekend overall, the weather was fantastic and we got a lot done as well. The Cubs won last night forcing a game 6, hopefully we see a game 7. The Eagles lost in OT, but Beth's Jets won beating the Browns in Cleveland. Congrats to Jimmy Johnson for taking the checkered flag in yesterday's NASCAR race and clinching him a spot in the final race at Homestead, FL for the championship. Good morning all, the coffee is on and Halloween last night is now history. Lots of kids came around and saw plenty of adult supervision with them. West Point is getting ready for this Saturday's Army vs. Air Force football game with the Spirit Luncheon on Thursday with the bonfire in the evening. This is the first leg of the Commander's Cup and the win will make Army bowl eligible as they are currently 5 - 3. Anyway, enjoy your day everyone and remember to be safe out there....... :-)

Good morning everyone and a big congrats to the Chicago Cubs for being crowned the 2016 World Series Champs. The coffee is definitely on and greatly appreciated. There's a lot going on today here at West Point. We have the Army beat Air Force spirit luncheon and then this evening the annual bonfire. A number of us are going to head over to the Newburgh Brewery this evening after dinner for a couple of cold ones and listen to the great sounds of the "Swing Shift Orchestra":
