I've talked with people who are supposedly "in the know" who swear that the vigerous blind tasting process still happens as far as ranking them goes. not gonna go down that road, but there is one question with these rankings that I don't get...

if they're the top cigars of 2013, why are cigars that came out many years ago on the list?

Of this list I have tried #4 & #6 and thought they were good.
#3 sounds interesting.
I don't give much importance to the magazine peoples opinion though.

CA's top ten is good for a discussion but for me that's about it. Taste is too subjective to me. I don't need a top ten list to tell me what's good I KNOW that Gurkha is the greatest cigar company in the world and i think Tom would wholeheartedly agree! :-)

Gurkha at #9? I think Tom should start a letter writing campaign to correct this unforgivable error! I have a passionate PM from Tom decrying the fact that Gurkha pre-embargo's are no longer available. Here's Just a small sample From that PM.


He goes on to quote shakespeare several times in the angry rant but you get the point. The point of this post is Tom LOVES Gurkhas and that's just a fact that can't be disputed.
