Size: 3 7/8 x 55
Country: Dominican Republic
Wrapper: Connecticut
Binder: Dominican
Filler: Dominican

This cigar is made for Mike’s Cigars by General Cigar in the Macanudo Factory. The wrapper is a medium-brown and toothy with some medium sized veins throughout. It is well made with a triple cap and appears to be fully packed with tobacco but has some give to it. The pre-light aroma is sweet tobacco. After an easy cut with my generic guillotine cutter I get an unlit taste of some spice and some sweetness, very nice. I paired this smoke with bottled water.

1st third-Slight spice and sweetness with a dry finish. Leather is the predominant flavor. Gives off a thick cloud of white smoke. The burn is jagged but even all the way around.

2nd third-At this point some wood notes come into play, More leather. Still burning great.

Final 3rd-The wood flavor is gone along with the spice and sweetness. Leather is the main flavor for this smoke. Burned great all the way to the nub. Never got hot or harsh.

Overall, this was a great little smoke. It lasted for right at an hour and was very smooth the whole way. Gave off a great leather flavor with no harshness. This is listed as a mild smoke, but I would say it is more medium and look out for a pretty good nicotine kick that sets in about the time you hit the final third. On a scale of 1-10 for strength, I would say it is a 5. My overall rating on this cigar would be a 17 out of 20. Not very complex, but a very good straightforward kind of smoke that was very well made.
