That was the first one I thought of when I saw the headline. Some of the others area little iffy, but she definitely is #1.

No mention of Jane Badler??

No mention of Summer Glau??

No mention of Jeri Ryan??

Those guys MUST be wearing pocket protectors.

How is she not on this list? Buffy gets higher than Sarah Connor? Not much credibility :-) But you have to agree with Ripley.

I wouldnt put Ripley as #1 because of that trainwreck of a movie that is Aliens 3

Also there is a loose definiton of sci-fi going on in that list.

I agree that this list does stray off the strict sci-fi definition. But that's why it's fun to dissect!

BSG is definth it my friend. Definitely the best television I've ever seen (even if in the middle it does get a little odd/mediocre, the beginning and end are phenomenal).

Loves me some Zooey:-)

Well, IMHO calling "Hitchhiker" a SF flick is like calling Will Ferrell funny - some may think so, but I can't see it. I like Adams, and the flick was fun, but it's a stretch to call it "speculative fiction".
