...is better than every Cuban cigar made in 2023. Just ask Cigar Aficionado. :-)

Well duh. How much ad revenue does Cubatobacco spend with Cigar Aficionado mag?

Are we questioning the integrity of Cigar Aficionado?

I didn’t smoke any 2023 CC but the ALR is a very nice cigar. Pales to a nice aged CC but may be better then a fresh CC.

I'd pick the ALR over the Cohiba 55th (and yes, I smoked both). I can probably get a whole box of ALR for the price of one Cohiba 55th, but even if it was one stick vs one stick I would light up the ALR.

I picked up a 5er of these a couple months ago after not having an RP cigar for years. Mostly because I love anything with a San Andreas wrapper. I’ve smoke one so far. It was ok. Not as much flavor or depth as I’m used to with a San Andreas stick. But it was only one so we’ll have to see how the others do.

In the immortal words of Cigar Coop, “try a sample” before you buy a box. I liked it, bought a box.

I would definitely agree it’s not in everyone’s wheel house but I enjoyed the cigar. I’m not sure it would make my top five but would my top 10. I can attest unless your a Viaje or Aganorsa fan boy, my top five would not appeal to you hah.
