This tour is turning into a nightmare........had to put 2 of my deckhands on nights to help the science people. Now, one of the quartermasters is very sick, and was just taken off the ship by the U.S. Coast Guard from Rochester and taken to the hospital. We are sitting here at anchor off Rochester, waiting for word from our SAR Tech who had to go with him, to see when and how the tech is getting back to the ship. Don't know if we are here for the nite or leaving later onj so I can't go to sleep. Plus we had a rats nest with our 5 ton wire on it's winch.....ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Now I'm losing another deckhand as he has to wheel the ship for the sick QM, so now I have only 1 working days with myself and my winchman.

I need a smoke:-):-)

Just tell that Helo to come swing by my pad and I'll launch some yummy cigars to you via the coast guard. Things will get better and I'm sure you'll be happier around Christmas time. :-)
