The Cult was great, but I was hoping for more performance/improv than what they did. They played everything right to the original recording; not so many guitar solos. Duran Duran had more guitar solos and mixing one song into the next. Both rocked about equally. The Cult was straight up, Duran Duran mixed video in their performance which must can set somewhat.

I'd see either band again any time they are in town. Duran Duran is coming back the area in a month or two.

I just got back from seeing Garbage perform at the Central Park Summer Stage.

It was a good show but the sound could've been a lot better.

I've been to three concerts in the past year; Mark Knopfler on his Tracker tour; Brian Setzer's Orchestra on his Christmas tour, and Paul Simon on his Stranger to Stranger tour. Each was awesome in its own way, but the Paul Simon show was really something special. His song writing, musicianship, and band are a wonderful combination.

Man, I"m jealous Ferdie. Haven't heard of Like a Storm, but Alter Bridge should be good. their latest stuff rocks. And who doesn't like Living Colour.

Think of a harder rocking Creed, with a better singer. :-)

Only a slightly better singer, to me he sounded like a mildly talented Chris Cornell wannabe. They are tight but booooring, left after 4 songs
