:-)

This reminds me of that video where a man on the street is asking directions on a map from people and someone carrying a large picture pushes between them. The guy asking directions switches with one of the picture carriers and the person on the street never noticed.
They even switched a white guy for a black guy.

See that all the time on Cbid, more money than brains.

I saw that too and just had to laugh. Not only are they paying more but they have to wait for the auction to end before they ship. Common sense isn't that common.

Exactly. And while I understand that on CBid peopled might not know or may be too lazy to check the price on another site, on the Dutch Auction it's right there in front of their eyes.

BTW, as of this morning, the top bid is $50!

I don't want to extinguish the fire or anything, because I can't stand overbidders, but JR doesn't run the same way as cbid. I was listening to a podcast that said the people who bid OVER the JR price never pay that amount.
JR will not charge you more than the JR advertised price. It just assures them a definite win.
No real point to the auction however if you are willing to just pay the advertised price.
If they are marked as sold out on the main page, then the auction page will definitely allow you to get what you want.

So fortunently, I think cbid users still have a monopoly on insanity. :-)

Didn't know that; thanks for explaining.
