I got to thinking about this last night as I was organizing coolers and my fridge-a-dor. As I was digging around, I was remembering the circumstances surrounding many of the purchases and laughing to myself a little bit- "Yeah, I remember racing home for work to intercept these before Jenn found them." "Man, this is the first box and the last box that I bought from that guy." "I still can't believe I payed this much/little for these guys." "Oh yeah, my first purchase!"

So what were they? Mine were a 25 cab of H Upmann Mag 46 and a 50 cab of Partagas Lonsdales. A special thanks again to IHT and Coppertop for really shoving me down the Habanos slope.

I don't know if it was the fact that they were the first CCs I had ever seen or smoked, but they were some of the best cigars I've come across to date.

Back then CS had banner ads for vendors. It probably wasn't the smartest idea, but I just picked a random one with good prices and went for it. I think I started sweating as soon as I hit submit, but it all worked out. :-)

Yup, I did something similar and I think that was "my first and last purchase from that guy" incident! I think that was my 2nd purchase actually, and it was a box of Boli PC's too:-) I remember thinking, man, I really like the cigars that I got from the last guy, but he was really expensive and charged for shipping. This guy doesn't, WHAT A DEAL, I'm buying these from him! LOL, leasson learned!

My first CC purchase included a box of monte 2's. Boli Gold Medals, Psd4 and RASS.

It has been a downward spiral ever since...mainly becuase I am OCD and never break a box from its original 25...LOL

Every CC box I have bought has sat intact except for ONE box of monte 5's. Pretty soon I am going to start rebuying all the same sticks so I can begin smoking my aged stock which are starting to hit 4 years... wooohooo

NC - I can't recall for sure, but I think it was a box of Taboo Twists.

CC - Never purchased a box and most likely will not. I'm afraid I'd be the one they caught and they'd make an example of me for the others and throw the book at me.
