General Discussion>April Fools Day...

So usually I'm not an April Fools day fan, mostly because everyone thinks they are a damn comedian. :-)

Having said that, there can be great pranks today, so let's here some of the better ones you have been either end of.

For me, it was 2 years ago. I had gotten tickets to the Final Four in New Orleans and April 1st was a day with no game, so I was with some friends having fun on Bourbon St. I got an email saying my brother had tagged me in a photo on facebook. I got on and saw it was a sonogram. Not really thinking about what day it was I called to congratulate him. It went straight to voice mail, and I proceeded to start buying people drinks and cigars to celebrate. He didn't call me back until about 3 hours later to inform me it was just an April Fools joke. Asshat cost me $150. Flash forward to today when his wife is actually due next week, if he calls me today... :-):-):-)

Also, I feel sorry for the kids who waited until today to write research papers, they rely so much on Wikipedia, they will end up with some effed up info!

I always thought of pranksters on this day as SO LAME that they couldn't let a day like this go by without trying some
bull5hi+. I never left a prank thinking, "You know what, that was clever". Instead I usually walk away wondering how
some people get taller, get a job, pay taxes, do all the things adults do, but still have this infantile streak a mile wide.
My boss is like that. Still uses lame material from his high school days whenever someone uses one of his trigger words or
phrases.....words like "he made a mistake". To which my bosses INVARIABLE reply is "I made a mistake once...but I divorced her.

Different strokes........
Some are very clever and heck, it's once a year.

As I always say, f....'em if they can't take a joke.

I don't mind a good prank that is well thought out. What I hate is when people use it to be jackasses, or an excuse for an extremely lame prank. Some people think they can just be d!cks all day and it's ok if they just throw an April fools at the end.

This is about the 80th one of these I've seen of these all day. I hope Famous is happy. As much as I love their deals. I get real sick of this sh!t especially when it is used to drive panic business. C'mon famous, you are better than that..:-):-)

I mean I've seen a ton of threads on multiple boards about this same email. I just can see a lot of people buying it and running out to stock up before the cigarpocalypse.
