Island (The other ones) Reviews>Cain sun grown 464t

Now if you read my old reviews you know I am not a big Nub fan, and the only Cain I really liked is the Cain F550, but when I saw this Cain sun grown 654T, a nub sized Cain sun grown torpedo with a price tag of € 7,50 I decided to light it. The cigar is quite new I guess as the Cain website doesn't even mention them.

Once I release the cigar from the cellophane wrapper I see an oily and shiny wrapper, quite dark, with a few veins. Like all nubs and cains, the cigar has a band on the foot. The construction feels good. The predraw is fine and I taste a mild and dry tobacco flavor.

I taste a dry and spicy earthy flavor with some sweetness. The flavors are full, just like I expected from a Cain. After a third I taste wood with a mild sweetness.

Halfway I taste another, a better, wood flavor with a floral support flavor and some pepper. I also taste a little bit of nut.

Even though this is a short smoke, it lasted me for an hour and forty five minutes. The draw is good, a little on the mild side of good though. The smoke is thick and plenty. This cigar is full bodied and full flavored and has a firm silvergray ash.

Would I buy this cigar again? I just might, when I want something thick & phat.

The Cain you have pictured is a Habano wrapper, not Sun Grown.

blame it on the Dutch distributer, who told me it was the Cain Sun Grown.

You just can't trust the Dutch for anything!

you know, this remark could get you in trouble. I foresee a box of Guantanamera Cristales in the near future for you.
