For the first time, brother, or are you prepping for the movie? And have you read the Ring Trilogy, or plan to start after this prequel? Or, alternatively, were the movies sufficient?

Just finished the Count of Monte Cristo and started the Hunger Games, which is a very quick read. I've made it through about a 1/3 of it in what seems like very little time.

I read the whole series back about 10 years ago. I wanted to read something that WASN'T sci-fi to try to get me out of that genre for a little while. Gonna read The Hobbit then the whole trilogy.

I re-watched the Trilogy over Memorial Day weekend. Will be interested to see how much is in the books that I've forgotten over the last decade :-)

Just finished Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy, and followed that long book up with a quickie The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka. Debating what to read next.
