Accessory Discussion / Reviews>Humidor too small?
PCR 01:17 AM 04-29-2011
I noticed something peculiar this evening. I was taking an inventory of my cigars that are in my 15"x12"x 10" humi. I have about 40 cigars in it, the cigars on the top shelf (approx 12 cigars) are more moist that the bottom cigars. I have 4 oz. of Shilala beads (2 oz. on top, 2 in bottom). I am thinking there may not be enough air circulating? RH ~ 64-68 @ 65 F temp. Held steady all winter.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Not sure why that's the case, but a simple solution would be to periodically rotate cigars from top to bottom.

They're fine. Humidity rises. Rotate as mentioned or put all humidification in bottom.

As Greg stated rotation and/or moving the beads to the bottom should help. BTW, the easiest way to rotate your cigars is to smoke more :-)

Ah, smoke more. What an idea! :-) Seriously, thanks for the insight guys, I appreciate it. Ok beads to the bottom, more cigars gonna be toasted.
