Some of you may have seen my post in the Thoughts & Prayers forum about this. My 4th child was breech and my wife had a scheduled C-section as they won't deliver babies feet first anymore. Apparently the risks are greater than just performing a C-section. We did not know the gender of our baby. We've waited for each of them as we feel the surprise is a big part of the excitment. So on Wed 7/10 (1 week prior to her due date), we got up at 3:30 AM, got ready, loaded up stuff for a few days into the car. We left the house around 4:30 AM. The C-section was scheduled for 7:30 AM but we had to be there 2 hours early and the hospital my wife's doctor works out of is about an hour drive away. We made it on time and prepared mentally for what came next. This is our 4th child but the first 3 were delivered naturally. We both knew C-sections are fairly common but it was going to be her first and it's still major surgery. So, the last thing they do prior to anesthesia was an ultra-sound just to verify the baby's position. Well, in the 4 days since my wife's last doctor's appointment the baby had turned. Baby was now in the perfect position for a normal/natural delivery. To make sure the baby didn't turn again, they admitter her and started her on pitocin (which induces labor). A few hours later and my wife delivered our 3rd son, Monroe Amerigo!!! He was 9 lbs, 15 oz, 22.5 inches long, and most importantly, healthy as can be.
Here's a picture of my oldest son Malachi holding Monroe:

Sorry I didn't post all this sooner. Things have been very busy at my house with my in-laws in town, my great-uncle in town, 4 kids, two under 18 months old, my huge family who all came by to see the baby, etc.
I do want to thank those of you who sent throughts and prayers our way. I feel the baby turning, being born naturally, and both my wife and him being healthy is a huge answer to prayers. Thanks again,
Mike
