I finally paid the entrance fee. That makes it official that I will be riding my first century on SEP 3. I should do fine just a little nervous since I havent ever done that distance before. I did 60 yesterday and will be doing a hilly 70-80 miles today.

Good luck! It isn't as hard as you think. Just remember, it's a ride, not a race. Don't worry about getting dropped (no matter how hard you may try, you will!), go slow and enjoy it!
I have done a couple now, but prefer to ride alone, and have done one solo.

Enjoy! Will this be in traffic? Do you have a bag attached to your bike to carry a traveldor? Never know when you might have to stop for some reason and enjoy a fine stick until the chase vehicle finds you.

Well, after my ride yesterday I dont have any more worries. Ended up riding 92 miles with almost 6,000 feet of climbing. The century is going to be pancake flat.

6K of climbing in 92 miles is a TOUGH day..... If you just did that, doing a flat century, in a pack, is a ride in the park....

Just registered for the MS150 here... Not for months, but it is with a team and to get our kits & whatnot, they need to find out who is committed....

Good luck Brian. Thats a helluva ride. I am just now getting into road biking (via my new found love for triathlons). I hope to get a century done in the next 2 years.
