Arturo Fuente's are good starters, its probably best to visit a local shop and pick out 2 or 3 different smokes to try. Maybe a Punch or Romeo and Julieta as well. :-)

I think they would be over $3 at the local shop but I see what your saying because it would benefit to sample before you buy a box. You could also buy a 5er from one of the cigar auction sites or Cigar Monster.

I think there's a couple of discontinued smokes in the list by now, but most should be available. Some are exclusive to online vendors, like the Famous Nic 3000s. For mild(er), something like the Perdomo 826 or 5 Vegas Classic would be a decent starter smoke. :-)

Hi Guys,
Famous-Smoke.com has a 5 for 3 special...I just picked up MAXX by Alec Braddley (5x58) for $15. I actually picked up two, with one it came out to ca. $5 per stick with shipping, only $3.60 per stick for 10. I personally like the medium / full bodies cigars and have not gone wrong with the MAXX.

also check out www.slickdeals.net - then type 'Cigar' in the search column. Slick deals is a great board, made up by users!

Another good site is Amazingcigarbargains.com. Easier to use, too - IMHO.

This thread is actually just a list of cheap smokes. Anyone can cut and paste to add to the list. There's another stickied thread for vendors, and if you find a great deal, feel free to start a new thread. :-)

Not sure if these belong, they're over $3 but less than $3.50, but IMHO the best value cigar is the Tatuaje Series P Short Robusto followed by A.J. Fernandez's Diesel Unholy Cocktail.

Casino Golds are a good cheap smoke. They are corona size and you can pick up a box of 20 for under $60 bucks.

Does anyone have any advice about Wolf Pack cigars? Could it be a decent cheap smoke for yard work?

First of all, 3 demerits for asking an easily guugled question. Second, 5.5x44 I think.

32 Drew Estate Chateau Real for 68 bucks, a hair over 2 bucks a pop for a good cigar.

I would suggest this sampler to anyone looking to buy some cheap smokes. It is called 'The Chosen One' and contains 40 cigars for $99.

Contents:
5 - Cohiba Red Dot Robusto (5" x 49)
1 - Rocky Patel Decade Torpedo (6.5" x 52)
1 - Rocky Patel Olde World Reserve Corojo Toro (6.5" x 52)
5 - La Gloria Cubana Churchill (7" x 50)
2 - Rocky Patel Vintage 1990 Torpedo (6.1" x 52)
4 - Rocky Patel Signature Toro (6" x 52)
2 - Rocky Patel Edge Corojo Toro (6" x 52)
1 - Rocky Patel 1961 Torpedo (6.1" x 52)
5 - Hoyo Excalibur Epicure (5.25" x 50)
4 - RP ’Patel Bros’ Toro (6.5" x 52)
5 - Punch Pita (6.1" x 50)
1 - Rocky Patel Sun Grown Torpedo (6.1" x 52)
4 - Rocky Patel 1961 Toro (6.5" x 52)

I have not tried every one of those but I have tried a majority and they are pretty solid smokes in my opinion.
