My father was a veteran of WW II. He made sure I always remembered...

A terrible event, leading to even more terrible events. But America's shining hour in history.

Salute to those who perished, and those who made us proud.

Cheers,
G

Had a wonderful conversation and a smoke with a gentleman today who remembered when it was announced over the radio. His older brother served in Europe, while he served in Korea.

It was a nostalgic visit as I was very familiar with the facts of some of the history, he supplied the nostalgia of the feelings and the mood.

Cigar to remember? Padron 3000 maddies. His first. He said he likes his Munimaker Maduros even better.

A salute to the greatest generation.

Peace of the Lord be with you.
