Throw an access point at the window in the house closest to the shed, that should help. Worst case scenario (if you really are that far), have whoever is doing/has done the wiring add a CAT5 cable...

Everything is powered up, and the cable is working. Temporary lights are up, and insulation has started. Should be finished Monday/Tuesday

Standard Cat5 isn't rated for outdoor use, he'd want to use something like this. I'd probably go with the access point like you suggested.

Wasn't thinking standard CAT5, but good catch... I should have been more specific.

Regardless, access point is likely the best way to go. :-)

Some pics of the progress....

All the insulation is in, and the wood is going up. I tested out the fan today while smoking, and believe that to be on the safe side another fan is necessary to evacuate enough smoke. I'm going to have another 110 CFM ultra quiet fan installed which will vent out the other side of the shed. I hate to spend the extra money, but better safe than sorry and much easier to do this now before the rest of the wood goes up.

IME, projects like this are never "done." You're always finding cool additions/changes to make... :-)

Both fans are in, and most of the wood sheathing is up. Outside light is installed (so Chris doesn't slip and fall on his way to the shed). Should be done tomorrow.
