Didn't someone here make them?
Anybody have any recommendations on a good one to buy?

Troy's (Boom)
I find that if they don't have flutes you aren't really doing much.

I have Slickster81's draw tool. The one thing I really like about it is the texture on the tip to help remove some tobacco and the "cigar" holder gives some piece of mind that nothing bad will happen while it's in the herfador with a bunch of sticks.

I have one of these as well, it's my most used draw tool.

I have one from Troy and it's pretty nice, but I mostly use a 6" 1/16" drill bit that I got from my father. They are not very expensive and I find that "drilling" out a plugged cigar works pretty well and it fits very nicely in my herf-a-dor.
Ironically, my father kept this bit in an old White Owl cigar tube

I have one of Boom's draw tools too. Actually I have two. Both are great and do the job perfectly. I highly recommend his tools. He also makes pipe tampers.

I use a thin crochet needle that I stole off of Dani's craft table (where projects go to die) thin profile and the hook is very effective at "rearranging" some of the plug. Not very manly but inexpensive and effective.

I bought a couple of these for friends, I think they are the coolest for keeping in a travel case.
