Good Eats>dipping sauces
Veritas 04:32 PM 12-22-2009
Cream cheese, cheddar, Texas Pete's hot sauce, pulled chicken - simmer in small crock pot and serve with heavy-duty chips (Fritos Scoops or something equally strong).

Not formal, but one hell of a good hot wing flavored dip.

(I'll track down the recipe with proportions if anyone is interested.)

Another thing that's a hit (I've got a few of these since bringing them to a holiday affair means they don't make me cook) is getting a jar of jalapeno jelly (sounds weird, but it's around) and just pour it over a slightly warmed up block of creme cheese.

TADA! Bloody awesome with crackers.

(Ok, feeling a little too domestic here. Gotta go find something in the humi to smoke.)
I'm right there with ya. Wheat Thin w/ Cream Cheese and Jalapeno Jelly, mmmmmm
