Here, I work in a clinic biweekly to see local nationals in a free clinic. It's amazing how long some of these people go without seeking care.

I'm in a local chapter of the Jaycees - an international service group. We coordinate an array of activities for kids/community. It also serves as a business networking/self enrichment resource.

If you're looking for something to do, there's probably a chapter near you :-)

I volunteered to wear this uniform and die for this country when most would not, that's all the volunteering I can handle.

My wife and I are foster parents for our county. We get brand new babies straight from the hospital when the mother is a drug or alcohol abuser. We keep the babies until the child can be placed with a family member, or they stay with us longer term until mom gets cleaned up.
