Thanks Brent. I've just been too darn busy recently and have missed some good afternoons to roast some coffee. I finally ran out of the home roast, so I stopped by the local market and picked up some Espresso roast to hold me over until I can get my butt in gear:-)

At the suggestion of UncleBeanz, I tried roasting 1/2 and 1/2 med and dark roast of the same coffee and mixing. Results were very good. SM's Moka Kadir at 1/2 FC-1/2 Vienna is chocolatey, with fruit, ultra smooth, dark roast flavors. UB's Negrita 1/2 city+, 1/2 FC+ is nutty, chocolatey, not as bold, excellent. 2 different coffees to start my Saturday, it's gonna be a good day :-)

Malawi AAA today, a dense chocolate mouthfeel and flavor. Yesterday, a really sweet Dominican Fair Trade coffee.
