I thought we need a motorcycle thread here, so here we go.
I went to the wineries on Saturday...perfect day! On Sunday, I rode up to watch some football. I haven't had much time to ride this week even though the weather has been very nice. I'm planning on going to see a friend of mine next week on the bike which is a nice two hour ride back and forth.
So, where have you all been riding to lately?
Pics of your rides would be nice too.
:-)

I think I rode the pool hall Monday night. :].. I've got some pics from some old rides I'll share.
Kawasaki ZX-10 rally at Deal's Gap in 2005.
I hauled my bike up there for this rally, but I've done the ride up there and back from Atlanta in day. That's a good bit of saddle time.

Florida Panhandle... Santa Rosa Beach. Rode down there with a few buddies for a week circa 2002. I've made the same trip on the Harley.

Doing a 200 mile+ run into NC this weekend to party a bit. Many cigars are headed down, very few returning...

I rode 60 miles through Lake County Florida yesteday on a day that reminded my why I live in Florida. Low humidity, blue skies and scenic country through backroads and past horse farms and far away from the tourism zoo I work in.
Really nice scenery and lots of Confederate flags and McCain posters on lawns.
My head will probably peel as I was 3 hours in the sun and forgot sunscreen but got a lot of stress off and had time to really contemplate some things on my beloved Fatboy.

Haven't ridden much lately. I did get to ride up to Mt. Wachusett, before the vacation was cut short. Sorry no pics though.

Sadly I don't have a bike, yet. Next summer I'm getting one of these:

Harley Davidson, Street Glide.

DarreLL, make sure you go through the harley motocycle safety course (if you have limited experience). Just to get your feet wet

I'm headed out of town in a few minutes so I won't be on the bike this weekend. However, I did let my sisters boyfriend borrow it for the weekend so it will get some miles on it.

My favorite event of the year, Biketoberfest, started today. It's not as crowded or hot as the Bike Week event where you overheat on Main Street when moving a mile takes 40 minutes.
Daytona draws around 300,000 bikers and Orlando Harley throws a 2 day party at the historic factory dealership.
I get off early Sunday and will go to the Orlando event with live bands and a chili cookoff.
All the vendors and chopper dealers set up and it's a big weekend. Plenty of metric riders as well and everyone gets along and acts cool and stays away from the Warlocks and Outlaws girls.
I'll try to take some pictures, but they'll be mild as my wife made me put the 2 seater on and is coming with me. No boobage unfortunately.
I'll also go easy on the beer garden event as every year, there are bikers who die on the highways in the area. Usually not their fault and both Mom and Dad will be on one bike while the kids are home with the babysitter. No mercy for the chili though.
I'm looking forward to the opportunity to bring one of my Churchills as I'll have plenty of time to smoke it in the nice weather while people and bike watching. The band, Bounty Hunter, is a really good Southern Rock band that plays a lot of Skynyrd.

I love the 08 Streetglides. I heard the 07s had there share of problems though. (trans noise, and running too hot) They worked it out in the 08 models I am told.
More than likely, my next bike will be a Streetglide.
Rumor is they are doing a Screamin Eagle model for 09, which will be beautiful.

Been riding now for about 40 years and tour as much as I can weather permitting. Nothing like a motocycle to get your motor runnin and damn near next to flying there is.
