The new series that premiered tonight on NBC

calling it good wouldn't do it justice, I'm still a little shaken up even

Don't watch that much primetime network TV and I didn't want to get pulled in by all of the hype. Watched it anyway.

Since I don't watch a lot of primetime dramas, I really can't compare it as better or worse. But, it held my attention and I thought it was pretty good. Don't know if it will become one of those rare shows that I just won't miss but I will give it another chance next week.

I caught it too. Looks promising. I'm just glad it's not another freakin' hospital drama, Law and Order, or CSI. It's no Sons of Anarchy though :-)

I forgot to DVR it. Is there any way to watch it on the internet? I know some shows you can watch on that channel's website.

I have no idea. I can't find the Yahoo article that she read but there was a list of shows that were rumored to be on the chopping block. The ones I remember at Dollhouse, Southland, and Sarah Connor.

Just curious. Was there anything in particular you guys didn't care for.

I don't know if it was my mood while watching it but I just seemed a little too slow.

It was not bad, but I found that it was annoying that they used "bleeped" language when it clearly is a made-for-network show. I think they tried to make it edgy by doing it but it was just an annoyance.

I think taking the expletives out would make it fake.

If you have ever been around a group of Law Enforcement Officer's you know that expletives are used like adjectives.

I liked it, and thought it was pretty good. Some realism there, but still a little far fetched.

I agree... problem was they expletives were out.... they bleeped them. It was like watching The Sopranos but with "BEEPS" instead of the words. Why can't US TV in primetime be like TV here in Canada? One of our national networks ran The Sopranos unedited, un-bleeped at 10pm.
