General Discussion>When it rains it pours doesn't it?
Mindflux 10:40 AM 06-17-2010
Someone crashed into Wife's new car yesterday.

Today I find oil and coolant staining on the garage floor from her old car (Mazda) that I'm driving now, it idles weird too and throws a CEL now and then.. all in the last month! (I gave up my 08 GTI so she could have a newer/more efficient car and we can only afford one car payment)

Brand new Insinkerator disposer went out this morning, just had that put in 2 weeks ago.

It seems like I'm never gonna get anywhere when everything is falling apart.

:-):-)

I just bought a case of Colon Blow, so no time to ease up, Pete.

Thats probably a head gasket that's blown out. Could also be the intake.

That sucks

Friendly advice try using the Insinkerator wrench in the bottom and hit the reset button before you call for repair

9x out 10 thats all it is, if you look under the unit in the dead center should be a female hex opening, a wrench should have been included. Turn it back and forth a few times. Looks like

http://www.insinkerator.com/product/...2&template=hhd

Then the Reset button should be on the underside as well

Hope that works.

Sorry again for your day, I know the feeling but it will get better

Yeah I remember seeing the 'jambuster' wrench in the box. :-) I was wondering WTF it did.
