Not sure if it's the 3-5 starters as much as it is the pitching coach. A good pitching coach could probably help this team out significantly. Harang, Cueto, and Volquez would also be a lot better if they had someone to help them learn.

Wow, the Reds really have no clue. The GM admitted today in the paper that it is all part of the bigger plan (win later, team of the future, wait 'till next year) and that they are getting young prospects ready. Its too bad they just traded for a 36 year old 3rd baseman and all their pitching prospects have ERA's over 5.25 and their young bats are hitting a smidge over the Mendoza line
