Sweet! Thanks for the link. I ordered a smart cover and I was wondering how I was going to protect the back. I just placed my order.

Would it be ok to buy an iPad 1 off of Craigslist? Anything I should look out for?

I'd just worry about the cosmetic condition. I have not heard a single story about any ipad quality control issues or things that break and fail or anything of that nature.
Make sure you get the wall charger because you can't charge an ipad from your computer.

I am going to try and get an OG iPad. Should I just get the WiFi model or do you recommend paying for the 3G service?

I'm not sure what an OG is, but I don't have a 3G model.
There were a couple reasons, I didn't have 3G where I lived, I already had an iphone and didn't need data on both my ipad and phone, and there's wireless everywhere I go. Plus I didn't want to pay the bill for data.
From all the stuff I've read, you really have to think of "how am I gonna use this thing?"
I use it to read books and magazines, and for dragging it when I travel. I use it for internet on the couch, because I hate a laptop. It's not a laptop replacement, so get that out of your head if you were thinking that. It's close though, depending on your habits. I'm an email, internet surfing goof, so it fits my needs perfectly.
I guess what I'm saying is "think about how you think you're going to use it."

OG = Original = iPad 1.
I think you sealed that for me. iPad with WiFi is good enough. Is there an app for wireless printing?

Erick,
I have had both.
My original was wifi only.
My new one is 3G.
If $129 is no option, get it. Better to have it than not. In my case, I travel and when I do, I can rely on 3G where no wifi.
If you don't have plans of using it remotely, save the money.

Also, go with 32G minimum unless you only plan to surf the net.
Right now, I have 46.8G on my 64 available. I have only had it for a couple of weeks and already 16G gone.

You only pay when you need it.
Say you are going to NY again.
Not sure if wifi available or say it isn't.
Pay for 30 days and be done.
Don't sign up again until you need it.

Nope. Pay as you go for 30 days from point you activate.

Got ya.
The ipad has bluetooth, and it should be able to print. I've never done it, and never had need to, so I don't know. You'd have to Google that one.
For some reason I think that capability came with an OS upgrade somewhere along the way.

Yeah, AirPrint.
The new 4.3.1 update on my iPad cranks up the speed of Safari even more.
